Had World War II not
happened in early 40s people would not have seen fashion shows around the
world. Surprise to hear it but this is true. To distract people from the news
of deaths of soldiers during war designers started organise fashion shows and
that is the power of fashion, which transmit life to the deaths.
40s fashion shows are
today’s Fashion Weeks. These fashion weeks continue for a week. A
transformation from entertainment to real fashion business shows. Most
effective and excellent place for showcasing women wears are fashion weeks,
where whole world could see products of various designs and brands made by
famous designers and even people could make choices from that. Media gives full
attention to fashion weeks and magazine like Vague publish pictures, articles
and interviews of ramp walks, models and fashion designers. Many big cities
around the world organise fashion shows for the people. Cities like Paris,
London, Milan, Madrid, Barcelona, and Rio De Janeiro organise fashion weeks,
where world’s most talented fashion designers display their products with live
model ramp walks.

fashion show only showcases handmade garbs. Only Paris can organise it. Though
during the shows the displaying of products takes time and no sewing or machine
made products are shown here.
Fashion industries bank
on them to expand their brands and moreover popularising them to the world
stage. Young and novice designers eagerly wait every year. Had this trend of
showcasing new designs not in fashion weeks the inexperienced designers would
have found their products difficult to showcase in world level. These fashion
weeks are good and effective in the sense that they can learn many things by merely
participating here and moreover they can draw inspirations from the experienced
designers only by communicating and sharing thoughts of their ideas. Fashion
weeks are so important that each and every fashion weeks create trend in the industry.
They can also be called as the trend setters for rest of the world, who can
follow it. Big business houses show their interest and wish to invest money to
the fashion industry.
