We all feel proud for our country and this feeling has
become hundred times more as India’s Mars mission has finally taken off. We
have become the first country to send spacecraft to the Mars orbit on the first
attempt. It is like dream comes true. India’s space expedition has achieved a
historic milestone and brought the red planet close to us. There are many speculations
on planet Mars whether it bears water and life on the surface or not.
‘Mangalyaan’ will look into these matters closely to reveal most awaited
scientific revelations.
After having a successful test fire of Main Liquid
Engine ISRO's scientists had grown into confidence and gave a green signal for
the ultimate take off to the second smallest planet in the Solar System, after
Mercury. This is the cheapest space expedition in the history. The Rs. 450
crore MOM mission turns out to be a success for the India’s space research
organization and ISRO has been the fourth space agency in the world to have
sent a mission to Mars. A spacecraft launching has never got such hype that ‘Mangalyaan’
got and made it a prestige issue for the India. Future is bright for India in
space technology. We have already surpassed in ability as per as the spacecraft
technology is concerned and we are giving tough challenges countries like Japan
and China.
If we see it from the astrologer’s perspective as Mars
is one of the protectors of the human kind we expect this will prove as an amulet
for us. Astrologers believe in the positions of the planets on the sky and they
are pretty sure that ‘Mangalayaan’ will bring better luck to us.
