From our childhood we have been rendering one song,
‘We shall overcome..... We
shall overcome someday.’ But after experiencing the hard reality
we can only remember these four lines of Wilfred Owen:
With
piteous recognition in fixed eyes,
Lifting
distressful hands, as if to bless.
And
by his smile, I knew that sullen hall,—
By
his dead smile I knew we stood in Hell.
Why can’t we talk about heaven right now? Why can’t we
say everything is peaceful and ok around us? Why are we angry right now?
All these questions have only one answer: OUR
CHILDREN IS NOT IN SAFE HANDS. OUR FUTURE IS NOT IN SAFE HANDS. THUS HOW COME
WE STAY HAPPY?
Whole world is crying. What a heinous and shameful act
of terrorism. Killing hundreds of innocent students in a school has made us
stunt and helpless. This has been the most brutal and vicious incident in
recent past. We all want peace in our life and terrorism doesn’t have any
language, religion or caste. It only creates division among mankind. Only peace
can bring us together. The Drape Ethnic family urges everybody to prevail peace
and shun terrorism from our life.
The whole world condemns this crime against
children. They are the future and we have no right to destroy it so early.
Noble laureates Malala Yousafzai
and Kailash
Satyarthi have made strong remarks and appealed for peace.
Malala Yousafzai: "I am heartbroken by this
senseless and cold-blooded act of terror in Peshawar. I condemn these atrocious
and cowardly acts, and stand united with the government and armed forces of
Pakistan," Malala said in a tweet.
Nobel Laureate Kailash Satyarthi said: "one of
the darkest days of humanity" and offered himself to the terrorists if
they were ready to free the children taken hostage.
Indian film industry has too strongly criticized the
killing of students.
Priyanka Chopra tweeted, “Appalling! What kind of
wimps hurt kids!”
Farhan Akhtar said his heart broke after he got to
know about the incident. “My heart has broken… The world failed those children
in Peshawar… It’s a sad sad day,” he posted on Twitter.
