This article is not politically motivated. This is
to create awareness for the black money issue. What we really didn’t want to
give away for the last 6 months is the chances of bringing back black money to
India. But now it seems that it is a distant dream as it is not that easy task
what we had thought earlier. Before election we were told that black money that
had no access for many years would come to India if we voted for the change. Change
has come but the problem is same. The reveries of earning 15 lacs by the every
account holder will not come true in the near future. The condition of our
country is not going to be better now.
In India black money means the fund that earned on
the black market, on which income and other taxes have not been paid. It is
difficult to say what amount of black money deposited in foreign banks by
Indians is unknown. Some reports claim a total exceeding 1.4 trillion US Dollar
are stashed in Switzerland. Other reports, including those reported by Swiss
Bankers Association and the Government of Switzerland, claim that these reports
are false and fabricated, and the total amount held in all Swiss banks by
citizens of India is not much than 2 billion US Dollar. There may be controversy
about the correct amount but it is true that if these amounts come to the
country they definitely add momentum to the country’s growth. What is missing
in India is the development in the villages. Only a country becomes strong
enough when its villages become self dependent.
Thus we hope that one day black money will come to
India and will be used for the development of the country.
